A Workflow for Publishing MORE & BETTER Articles, Videos & Podcasts
Unleashing the Power of Content: From One to Three Newsletters a Week!
I'm excited to spill the majik beans on how my content strategy has evolved from sending out one newsletter a week to an impressive 2-3 newsletters a week! Let me take you on a journey through my content workflows and the tools that have been transforming my content creation game.
The Evolution of My Newsletters
I've been super focused on ramping up my communication game in my newsletters. It all started with sending out one a week, and somehow, this year, it's bumped up to 2-3 newsletters a week.
More Newsletters, Less Social Media
To the average person, that may seem like an insane number of emails -- but remember, I don't do social media. Most social juggernaughts are posting 1-3 times per day... however, your newsletter is your most direct to-the-source communications channel -- so it's worth engaging in that relationship often. Keep yourself top of mind for your audience.
One of the secrets to creating high value content on the regular is to capture coaching conversations with clients and turning those flow state coaching moments into Articles, Videos & Podcast episodes so the world can benefit from those golden nuggets of wisdom.
My Three-in-One Workflow
Let me walk you through my content creation flow. When I write an Article, I don't stop there. I record myself reading and riffing on it, turning it into a YouTube Video and Podcast Episode. The whole process, from recording to editing to publishing the newsletter takes about an hour after the article has been written. That trifecta of content then becomes the heart of my newsletter.
Coaching Recordings Mixed with and AI Majik
But that's not all. I will also turn my moments of brilliance from coaching sessions into the same three kinds of content. This workflow is a little different though.
After the session is over, I will go in and edit the video & audio for YouTube and a Podcast. Once edited, I will run the audio through Descript, a cool tool, to create transcripts. I then run the transcript through ChatGPT which helps polish that transcript into an article in mere seconds. Boom! More content with minimal effort. Of course, I'll go back through and make the ChatGPT version my own... but it sure saves a ton of time!
In fact, that is the exact workflow that this article was created with...
Not bad, eh?
Turning One Piece of Content into Many Pieces
Now this is a new piece I am implementing on YouTube Shorts -- so I will talk more about it in a few weeks when I've habitualized this into my channels. But there's a fantastic tool I've stumbled upon that easily allows you to turn your long-form YouTube videos into a whole bunch of short social media posts! VidyoAI extracts key points, creating bite-sized content for platforms like YouTube shorts, TikTok, and Instagram. It's a game-changer for maintaining a consistent online presence. There are a bunch of programs like this and I am exploring which is the best. So stay tuned for those reviews soon...
Go Deeper with Those who Are Engaged
My focus isn't just on growing my audience but on deepening connections with those already tuned in. It's about making my voice profoundly relevant in their lives, giving them more reasons to pay attention. Because in doing so, I believe they'll find value that might lead them to invest in my services or courses down the road.
Crafting Compelling Stories
I'm all about storytelling that resonates. Whether it's personal transformations, valuable tips, or even fictional stories with real-life lessons, I encourage creators to explore the richness of their own narratives. It's a powerful way to inspire and engage. Stories are beautiful teaching tools.
The Friend Approach
Addressing concerns about over-emailing, I say treat your audience like friends. If they resonate with your voice, they'll appreciate regular communication. Those who don't will unsubscribe, and that's okay. It's about building connections, not just numbers -- and what does it take to have a long-term friendship? Regular communication!! If you drop off the map, say goodbye to that connection and friendship.
The Response: Epic Moments and Workshop Sign-ups
Since I committed to an intensified newsletter schedule, the response has been amazing. Emails pour in, expressing gratitude for epic content, and people who've been on the fence are signing up for my trainings. Engaging content can turn gratitude into tangible support, sometimes in the form of money.
So, fellow creators, reflect on your journey, share forgotten stories, and provide valuable tips. It's not just about growing an audience; it's about creating content that deeply resonates and inspires.
